George Hillhouse Sr.
George Hillhouse Sr. was born and raised in Cherokee County, Georgia. In 2007, God opened a door for him to sell insurance, but he had no desire to be an “insurance
salesman.” With encouragement from his family and a peace that passed understanding, he stepped out in faith.
Within a couple of years, George started his own independent agency, giving him the freedom to better serve his clients. A clear vision and mission took shape, and Refuge Insurance Advisors was born!
The agency has grown, but the rule has never changed: take care of the client. George Sr. continues to lead RIA with a trusted team that shares his heart for serving others.
The mission of RIA is simple:
